# Are timeline effects new?

I was just fiddling around in MX2k4, and right clicked on a shape, and saw the “Timeline effects” option in the context menu… Is that a new thing, or just something I never noticed before?

yep, it is new for MX2004 🙂

though most of the stuff i’ve heard about them has been along the lines of “they’re pointless, why did macromedia bother adding them” 😉

Yeah, that’s what I figured, I mean, there’s nothing there that you can’t easily do yourself, but I just wanted to make sure that I hadn’t been overlooking that menu item the whole time I was using MX. :: shrug ::

actually, copy to grid can be quite useful 😉
