# AS 2.0 in CS3 need help

I am somewhat new to actionscript, and have been desperately been looking through this site to get something going…  
So, i am trying to do an xml gallery where the main image is loaded dynamically and then sized down to a thumb… (done), now I want to call that same, already loaded image to the stage when the thumb is clicked… problem is i can’t figure out how to do it… i have it to where it just loads the same image again which is just countering what i am trying to do… so basically big file loads, gets shrunk and then when thumb is click i have to wait for the big file to load again… arrrggghhh!!! Can someone please help me with this? Thank you.
