# AS 3.0 or AS 2.0

Dear All,

I am in big dilemma.For developing new site,i am using one XML based external component which is written in AS2.0. And for other functionality I want do it in AS3.0. When I change the setting from AS2.0 to AS3.0 it gives below errors.I want to use this component, and also wants to use AS3.0  
Can anybody help in this?

Component: XML BJ Menu (XML based Menu)  
Error : 1120: Access of undefined property ( To all lines)

Can anybody help me to resolve this issue?  
Should i go with AS2.0 only?
