I had an audio scrubber for dynamically loaded sound that I built a long time ago. It works but is a little glitchy and was playing the sound file as the file loaded. I couldn’t figure out why. So someone at the office suggested I just use the Mediaplayer/controller component- which I did and I guess it’s ugly but will hopefully work more smoothly.

Two glitches-

A. I would like to change the colors with the following, but it didn’t work. It only changed the playbutton rollover color.
myplayer.setStyle(“themeColor”, 0xEDEDED);
myplayer.setStyle(“color”, 0x000000);

B. My .swf file size ballooned from 20 kb to 96 kb. Does that happen with components or is it something else? (It was kind of weird- I erased things in an effort to find out where the heavy weight stuff was until all I had was an empty stage and no AS and it was still 88 kb. anyone experience a similar mystery .swf?)
