Hey folks!!

my name is Frank, and I am writing you from Germany, Europe. I am Product Manager for FDT 3.0 ([fdt.powerflasher.com](http://fdt.powerflasher.com)), the right now most professional coding environment for AS3. We have recently visited a lot of conferences as FITC Toronto, Flashbelt Minneapolis, Flash on the Beach Brighton, Multimania Belgium etc… and showed the capabilities of our product.

If you want to see it live in action, just visit our webpage and give it a shot, we have a 30 days trial version. Different magazines reviewed FDT as being the better and more professional coding environment compared to Flash Develop or FlexBuilder.

If you are interested in a Product show at one of your User Meetings, we could set up a online presentation or, if timing fits, could maybe even show up.

Cheers and keep coding!!

Frank Piotraschke
Product Manager FDT 3.0

I saw the presentation for fdt at Flash on the beach last year, pretty good coding environment with lots of groooovy features, only downside… the price.
Flash develop is a free tool and that makes its more accesible

you’re right, but the price is more than legitimate if you consider the quality of the program.
Plus, students get 50% off… ([http://fdt.powerflasher.com/products/fdt-30/faq/](http://fdt.powerflasher.com/products/fdt-30/faq/))

looks real nice but i dont see enough features that flashdevelop doesnt have to make it worth the price diffference between the two(I use flash develop as my coding environment for its nice support of external classes, primarily)

but the type explorer and override browser is pretty amazing…
