Hi,

Firstly thanks for taking the time to read this. I seem to have bitten a little more off than I can comfortable chew. I am attempting to create a stopWatch\_mc application (Thousands, Hundreds, Tens and units of seconds).

The output of the stopWatch\_mc souls on each second update a variable lets say
var stopWatchTime this variable needs to be available to the overarching .swf file (of which stopWatch\_mc is a child.

The idea is to create a tabular analysis page that populates cells with the current stopWatch\_mc time on the click of a button clicks.

I am conscious (now) that my ideas have smashed the living daylights out of my ability and would be grateful for any assistance the forum can provide. I would also be grateful for any code comments so I am able to learn the principle rather than just use the code.

Yours Aye
