# AS3 Mouse wheel issues in Mac browsers

Could somebody tell me what it takes to get a Flash object in a Mac web browser to respond to mouse wheel events? As far as I can tell, SWFObject isn’t the answer.

\*\*EDIT: \*\*Sorry, that was kind of vague. I’ll explain:

I’ve got a program that’s meant to use the scroll wheel available on some (most?) mice. I’ve gotten it to work in the standalone Player, but I can’t get it to work in my browser, and I’m on a Mac. What do I need to do so that the Flash instance will receive mouse wheel events?
