# AS3 - namespace in a namespace

hi all!

how can i declare a namespace within a namespace in AS3? ( if it’s even possible to do )

this is what i like to do:

```php

private namespace defaults
   defaults namespace client
      client static var width:int

```

…but sadly this isn’t working for me… ☹

i want to acces like this:

```php

trace( defaults::client::width )

```
