# AS3 PHP security

hi i’m trying to make a flash game with a highscore list using php calls to a mySQL database, works great but if i put the flash on any website other then my own (where the php file is being called from) it doesn’t work. im pretty sure its a security thing.

So i’m wondering, how do people make games with highscore lists on sites like [newgrounds.com](http://newgrounds.com) or [addictinggames.com](http://addictinggames.com) where the php files cant be hosted on the site?
