# \[AS3\] Reading Mp3 header

[COLOR=black][FONT=Verdana]I’m trying to get the bitrate and frequency info from an mp3 file with as3 but I have some problems. I know that the bitrate is bites 17-20 and the frequency is 21,22. The problem is that to get my sound to a bytearray I have to load the sound in completely but I only need the header and I want to use streaming sound so loading it in completely would make that impossible and as I sow I can’t get bytearray out of a sound object.
