# AS3 - Simple problem (I think)

Hello there,

Long time reader - first time poster 🙂

I have a problem, which I’ve been googling for hours now without finding just what I need. It should be said that I’m pretty new to AS and Flash, so bear with me.

On to the problem:

I have two different “main” movieclips both located on the stage. In movieclip 1 I have a timeline of some 100 frames. In movieclip 2 I have some text and a movieclip, let’s call it movieclip 3, which acts as a button.

What I want is when I press the button of movieclip 3, (located in movieclip 2, which is then located on the stage) I need it to play frame 55 in movieclip 1.

I hope my explanation is good enough for you to help me out. If not, I’ll have to get more into detail when I get home.
