# ASP.net... C+ or VB?

so, what would be the most effective language when working with [ASP.net](http://ASP.net). I am trying to learn it to make database solutions for my customers, and also to use Silverlight in the future.

Also, do you know any good books/toturials to learn C+/VB and [ASP.net](http://ASP.net)?
