Ok so I’m running a loop and attaching each item accordingly.

I have a list of files
ParentFolder **attachMovie(‘mc\_ParentItem’, ‘parentFolder’, 500).init(parentinfo)**

- file1 **attachMovie(‘mc\_FileItem’, ‘file1’, 501+i).init(iteminfo)**
- file2 **attachMovie(‘mc\_FileItem’, ‘file2’, 501+i).init(iteminfo)**
- file3 **attachMovie(‘mc\_FileItem’, ‘file3’, 501+i).init(iteminfo)**
- file4 **attachMovie(‘mc\_FileItem’, ‘file4’, 501+i).init(iteminfo)**

I have a selector that is at depth 20 and hit tests for itself and the mouse before attempting to create itself. So that if there is a button on the file items they click it wont create the selector.

Now for the PARENTFILE, FILE1, and FILE2, it will not create itself and the hittest proves false, however any item at the position 3 and above will return a hit test of false.

After tracing the depths on releases of everything there is NO reason it should be hit testing true and oddlier it only hit tests true on anything at 3+.

Anyone have any idea why? Maybe something to do with attach movie?

Cheers,
-Robert
