# Audio help please.. EQ fx

I have some tracks I want to add to an intro movie I am working on. One of the cool things I thought of is. Those lights you see on an Equalizer and when there is audio it reacts or syncs with the audio. I.E is ther eis a lot of base the base meter on the EQ goes up like wise trebble. mid rang etc… Anybody know how to od that. I can create the EQ lights but I am not sure how to let the audio manipulate the eq MC I would have to create. Please help thank you

Usually the EQ FX is faked. The bars just alter height randomly.
To get a true EQ effect you can use swiftmp3 here(It’s not free though):

Hmm there is no way to do it via ActionScript? Does anybody else have any other ideas. I could fake it, but it’s a DJ mix and I really like to have things as real as possible… I don’t like a lot of fake things… If I have to then I will.
