# Audio level of sound in movieclip timeline

I have an audio narration in the timeline of a movieclip, which is sync’d to an animation. Upon playback that narration is much, much louder than the audio levels in the .flv’s, which use the same narrator.

I tried Sound.setVolume(), but that didn’t work, and loading the sound using actionscript sometimes created issues with sync’ing with the animation. Any ideas?
