[_]I have recorded an action that does “save for web” on PNG’s to convert them into transparent GIF’s. During the saving process, I just left the filename as its defualt “untitled-1”.
[_]So I run this action on a huge folder. I set set the naming scheme as “document name + 3 digit serial + extension” and checked “override save”.
[\*]The problem is that the batch attempts to save all of the images as literally “untitled-1.gif”. Obviously it can’t do that, because of the multiple “replace this image” warnings.

How do I force batch processing to use the naming scheme which I specified? I have CS2, BTW.
