i was wondering if there is a way to automatically add a new button in this flash file without actually going into the FLA file and adding one?

maybe via XML?

what is my best bet for this?

i have about 100 pictures i want to have, but i don’t feel like going through all of them and adding them. so i am looking for an automatic way to do this, where i would crop and edit the photos to jpg and then maybe drop them into an image folder where flash can look and add a button to the swf automatically.

does that make sense.

Of course!

If you make Flash ‘read’ the images it has to display from an XML file it should already know how many there are (length of images\_array). Just duplicate the button\_mc as many times.
