# Avoiding Flash Decompiler

Hi,

Someday I was wondering how easy was to decompile a flash file. For my surprise, it’s very easy to pick somebody work and copy everything.

So, thinking in how to avoid this, I got an idea. What if I export my flash (swf) to Macromedia Director and publish it as a shockwave movie (dcr)?

As I know, its not possible to decompile (or, at least, it’s not so easy) a shockwave movie.

What do you guys think? Is it a good tatic to avoid somebody to copy your work?
