Back again.
Everyone got me on the right track with my previous problem, but once again I am stuck.

I have learned some basics of PHP, and have been extensively reading about MySQL.

I would like to have nice and dynamic sections to my web page and know that these are the way to go.

I work exclusively on apple computers and access everything via FTP with Fetch.
I do not know how to get started.

My uncle who gave me the domain/hosting says to me, “The hosting does support MySQL and I added (through Plesk, the admin module) a MySQL database named “ianbase” with a user name “\_\_\_\_\_\_” and a password “\_\_\_\_\_\_”.”

I do not know how to access it, what to use to find it, or how to begin working on it.

Please Help!!!

EDIT:
Would it be easier to instal my own from scratch and how do I determine what method to take to do so?
