The subject says it all. I’m using an ambient spaceship type sound for my background. I drag the mp3 file from my library onto the stage and have it loop. But whenever it loops I hear a pop… happens every time with every different sound effect I try… can anyone help? ---

the easy way would be to open the sound file in some audio editing software (cooledit, etc.) and fade in/out the first and last 0.1 seconds. What you are hearing is what happens when the waveforms don’t line up. like: /////|end - start|\_//// it should be: /////|end - start|//// What I normally do is zoom _right_ in on the beginning and the end, and clip them at the point where they cross over the ‘zero’ line. I know this isn’t the best explanation in the world, but hopefully you’ll get my meaning. ---

Okay that helps thanks. I was actually trying to do something like that in Cool Edit Pro but I didn’t get thats specific… I’ll try that, thanks. ---
