# Background Image

Am new to flash so please be gentle. After reading numerous guides and tutorials on Flash 8 i still cant work out how to set a image file, jpg, gif etc as the background to a move i am making, and also how to insert an image file to display upon the movie.

Any help or pointers to guides would be great
