# Backups!

When I get a new hard-drive I’m gonna start makin’ a lot of backups! Every week I think at least!

I almost lost all the data on me hard-drive! It started making some wierd sounds for some reason :-\ So it won’t last long right now… I dunno how much time it has got! I have the 40gb hard-drive divided into drives C;D! C is under isolation! I have 2 windows XPs installed right now cuz I couldn’t access the one on drive C! It’s curtains for drive C. Thank god I could copy my life’s work onto my laptop from the other windows I installed on drive D! I tihnk I’m gonna buy the 120GB hard-drive now! And then I’m gonna start makin’ backups! I could’ve had a heart-attack if I had lost my life’s work! All the flash and 3ds max I’ve done in me entire life! (well not much but still… )’

Right now I can’t do more than just play Counter-Strike or 3ds max! (these are on drive D) I could install more stuff on D but… I’ll just wait! Besides… I need a time off!

I backup my PCs at home. I think its a great idea. It took a drive failure for me to learn my lesson. Now I do a full backup every week on a DLT Tape drive. With a differential every night. I would hate to lose a video project that I spent 100+ hours editing…
