# Basic logo design

Howdy  
Me and a friend of mine are putting on a music night (ska,punk,reggae,rock n roll) and I need to make a temporary logo as part of it.

I tried a couple different designs, I didn’t want to do anything too ‘punk’ or too ska style since we’re having a bunch off different music styles and I don’t want it to lean to too much to one particular genre.

So I tried some different things but I decided to take it to basics. I tend to make something nicer down the track but at the present I want something catchy and recognisable. I tried making a grunge, wrecked version but it was a bit ‘overdone’ So I went back to basics

There’s a plain, one with a tag line, one in Italics and one that’s kinda grungy
