# Basic question

Sorry about this basic question, I’m learning flash. I am working with Flash Professional 8, the question is:

How can I get the position x, for example, of a movie2 inside a movie1 which is in the main stage? I want the absolute x position of movie2 referenced to the coordinate system in the main stage, not with respect to the coordinate system of movie1.
