ok, so batch processing is doing what it does best - being annoying.

i’ve _almost_ got my batch setup right, but there’s one problem with it still. Basically my action does a few effects to the image, then i want it to save as a png and close.

so i’ve put in the save for web command and it DOES save as a png and then close, as i’m using the “override save as commands” option in the batch menu, but it saves in the location from the “export” step (i.e when i inserted a save for web step to convert to png). In my case, C:… it does this even when i specify the output folder.

it’s hard to explain, but i basically want to edit the action so that when i look at the “export” step at the bottom, it doesn’t have “In C:/blahblahetc” in there.

can i do this? the help file says you can double click an action to edit its options, but when i try it either says “the object \_\_\_\_\_ is not availalbe” if i have no file open, or it runs the step if there’s something open.

if i can’t fix it, i’ll just have to record the action with a save to web into the base C: and then override it, but this seems a bit unstable and unnecessary… saving/closing in batches is pretty annoying!
