is it possible to have events triggered by types of sound … like animate a clip to the beat of a song with actionscript … like an equilizer vizualization for winamp or something?

I just got “Fresh Flash” by foed, and there’s a very good chapter about just that in there, using Marmelade’s Flashamp, check [www.friendsofed.com](http://www.friendsofed.com) in the books code section, get the download by ty lettau…and you’ll need flashamp.

You can use flashamp or you can use swiftmp3…

Swift gives you the eq line definitions of songs and can be quite helpful really 🙂

Then it gives you data in an array that you can use to your advantage… 🙂

eyezberg, i downloaded the files and took them apart. i think i understand how it all works now except the swf file with the music in it. i can’t seem to duplicate it with my own music.

do you have an fla file that i could look at that has the music in it so i can see how exactly i’m supposed to put together that swf file.

thanks =)
