# Best place to get some starter Action Script?

Where’s the best site (or book if you know of one) that would be good for learning some basic action script, not your bog standard stop, play etc, sort of… the next step up but preferably with decent explanations to go with it as to what the code you’re writing actually means and what it’s going to do to your animation.
