Final Fantasy VII. Final Fantasy IX. Final Fantasy VIII. Final Fantasy… You get the idea? 🙂 In addition, I would also like to cite Xenogears, the Silent Hill series (which I soon discovered is best when not played after midnight when you’re drunk) and UFO:Enemy Unknown which hooked me for hours. Oh, and Secret of Mana. And Weaponlord, on the SNES. ---

My favorites are … Impossible Mission (C=64) WarCraft 2 (PC) StarCraft BroodWars (PC) Counter Strike (PC) In no particular order - they are all great games … Ouups forgot … UFO Enemy unknown (thnx for the hint - Kit ) 😉 ---

[pet peeve rant] ITS BROOD **WAR**! I can’t believe how many people call it brood wars. Its like 60% of the players. When was there more than one war? Blizzard should have just named it brood wars to start so that everyone could get it right. :!: [/pet peeve rant] sorry 😉 ---

my all time fav. games (By plataforms i´ve owned): COLECO - Vampire / Montezuma´s Revenge; ATARI - Hero / Pitfall; Nintendo (all of them) - Mario series / Zelda series; MSX - Nemesis / camelot; PC - Baldurs Gate serires, Never Winter Night / Half Life (and MODs) / DOOM / Quake series / Vampire the Masquerade; PS1 - Winning Eleven / Metal Gear / Tom Clancy´s series; PS2 - coming soon 😉 ---

Ai, so many games and only a 20000 word limit - gonna be tough lol. 1. WarCraft III 2. Zelda: Link to the Past 3. Tactical-Ops 4. WarCraft II:Battle.net 5. Mechwarrior 4: Vengeance 6. Mechwarrior 4: Black Knight 7. Street Fighter 2 Alpha, SF3 Zero, Marvel vs. SF, etc. 8. Undying (scary game) 9. Commander Keen (Dreamland, 1, 2, Return of the Vorticons(sp?)) 10. Nope, Silent Hill is much worse than Resident Evil. Resi relies on blood and guts and stuff to scare you, Silent Hill does it psychologiacally, which works on more levels… :evil: ---

I remember playing Silent Hill on the PSone with my girlfriend. She just likes to watch me play and help me with puzzles and such (I know, I know, I’m a lucky S.O.B.) and I dont remember ever being so scared, I mean - REALLY scared. The R.E. series is great and I own them all and of course they are all scary. They have that “oh no look out behind you!” or “CRASH! the window!” but Silent Hill has the “this is screwing with my mind!!!” I will never forget hearing little kids talking and that creepy music! _shutters_ Great game! ---

> I´ve never played silent hill, but i´m gonna borrow from him…any advices? > Yeah… Run. 🙂 Seriously, when you first get a gun, you’re rubbish at aiming with it (because the character is a normal guy and not used to shooting) so shoot where you can, but if in doubt, run. It won’t count against you. You’ll get better, honest. Just takes practice (on his part). Listen to your radio… If it starts crackling (a horrible noise when it’s 2am and you’re drunk) then you know something’s around the corner and to beware. Don’t remember any of the puzzles being too difficult until a bit later on. Most of it is logical and fairly linear. Just keep your eyes open for anything. It took me a while to complete it, but then you’ve got about five different endings depending on what you do in the game… 🙂 ---

how about these : super mario bros 1 super mario bros 2 super mario bros 3 super mario land super mario world super mario 64 super mario sunshine super mar… you get the picture! no honestly: mario 64 ocarina of time max payne beatmania tetris - it never ages ico shenmue jet set radio mario world - probably the only game i can continue to play all the way through, without getting bored! oh, that ■■■■ bowser . . . . coming peach ---

There are way to man ygreat games to list the best. If i had to choose one i think it would be athis game i had for my intelavision. It was a 2 player tank game. you just moved around and shot each other untill one person reached 20 hits. That or FF1 for NES. I wasted a ton of hours on that game. With all the advaces and graphics still i come back to these as 2 of the best i ever played. ---

OH I just rememberd!! Super Mario RPG - what a fun game!! The only RPG (except Zelda, but it’s more of an adventure I guess) that I ever really liked! There are just too many… hahaha :beam: ---

Silent Hill is the scariest \*\*\*\*\*\* of a game I’ve ever played.
