# Binding XML connector to my component

I have a very simple component with a single text field called ‘title’. I am trying to bind the ‘title’ text field to data from the XML connector. I have added a schema to my component as ‘title: String’, setting the binding to ‘in’ and selecting the node from the XML connector I want to bind to. But when I test the movie the ‘title’ text field remains blank.

There’s little or no docs on setting up your own components for binding so I don’t fully understand how to setup the variables and schema of my component.

Can anyone help!!
