# Bitmap Text and Font Symbols?

When working with pixel fonts I’m using the ‘_Bitmap Text (no anti-alias)_’ rendering method, but this doesn’t allow you to embed fonts.

Is it therfore not necessary to embed fonts when using Bitmap Text or should I create a new font symbol in the library and link the text to that?
