# Black snot

I visited a friend in Vauxhall, London (quite close to the center) over the weekend and noticed that after a day and a half my nose was producing black snot (although bogies would be more accurate), probably from the level of pollution I was breathing. :x I live in london but quite far out west and I’ve never experienced the stuff before.

I was just wondering if anyone else had noticed the same thing in any cities around the world?

Maybe if we can gather enough information we can build a world map showing the ‘black snot index’ for different locations, which as I’m sure you’ll all agree would prove an indispensable guide for any serious traveller. (-:
