I have a string returned from a function and number works well, because it is possible to cast a number with Number();
But for a boolean, this seems not to work?

Is it really necessary to parse the string “true” and “false” like this?

```auto
function setSettings(result)
{
var res = result.split(',');
//alert(res);
document.querySelector("#tilewidth").value = Number(res[0]);
document.querySelector("#tileheight").value= Number(res[1]);
document.querySelector("#fileprefix").value= res[2];
document.querySelector("#addlayer").checked= fBoolean(res[3]);//
document.querySelector("#foldername").value= res[4];
document.querySelector("#isretina").checked= fBoolean(res[5]);//
