# Box Animation

Does anyone know how to create an animation in flash so that when you click on a button a box comes out with information such as text in it. Similar to [www.fontsforflash.com](http://www.fontsforflash.com)

I’m new to flash. Thanks.

How new to Flash are you?

What you ask is not a simple 1,2,3 explaination…

Try doing a search on the forums for the items you wish, then ask any question you may have when you try to do your own work…

well from what i understand this is what you want to do  
buttons

[] Products [] Links  
[] Help [] Contact

when user clicks on any one of them you want to open a

1\> a new browser window OR  
2\> a movie clip like a windows dailogue box which display  
information in it.  
is that right.

well if this is so i will work on it and get back to you  
but as reverand said it will take sometime

yes that is exactly it. i want an area that contains information that shows up right next to my navigation area.

you will need to make a movieclip for a  
1\>window the one that pops up  
2\>then use tell target or load mc to bring it up every time it the button is clicked  
3\> then place a close button on the pop up , to close it when not required

HINT: use instsances
