 This is kind of a misc. question:
Can you by any means of java script or anything else get a browse window to pop up from within flash?
Return the selected file, or even get a php script to upload it?

Thankyou. 🍺

I had the same question. There is a website that will generate the java script for your pop up windows at [flash-db.com](http://flash-db.com), \<library tools,\<JS generator. You can put in the exact things you want for your window and it will tell you the code to put in.

Thanks for the reply, didn’t get to check it out, but with the advent of Flash 8 the browse pop`up works. thus there's no need for javascript pop`ups (unless, ofcourse, you use flash 7)

Cheers!
