# Browser not reading HTML

Hi there,

So im super newb at anything programming related and have just attempted the HTML5 basics tutorial, but I cannot seem to open the HTML in the browser.

I have checked that it is written properly and saved it to an HTML, but all I get is the text. Not the desired page(?).

I am on a mac.

Any help would be hugely appreciated.
