I’ve been toying with some ideas for my band’s website, and I’m going for an effect that I’ve seen done a million times, but never attempted myself. It’s a kind of burnt/torn/grungy parchment-y looking effect, I’m sure you all know what I’m talking about. I’ve been messing around with some various tutorials and such, but can’t get the effect to look very cohesive. If anyone can offer any tips, I’d greatly appreciate it. For an example, check out the layout of [http://www.vendettared.com](http://www.vendettared.com)
