# Button + animation problems :(

hello everyone!

this is my first post in this forum. thanks in advance to those of you who can help with my question! 🙂

basically this is the situation…i would like to make buttons where when the mouse cursor goes over the button, an animation appears elsewhere. I know i can do this by putting a movie clip within the button in the over state, but, i would like it so that the animation is still visible even after the mouse cursor goes outside of the button. then, when a person moves their mouse cursor on another button, that button’s animation will appear and so on.

An example of this that i found is at [www.triangle-group.com](http://www.triangle-group.com). when you put your mousecursor over one of the buttons, you see that the animation plays, but when u put your mouse cursor out of it…the animation is still there until you hit another button.

how will i be able to do this?
