# Button doesn't work at all

I am a beginner at Flash.

I can’t figure out why my button doesn’t work.

I have the button inside a movie clip that is on the main timeline. ( i have a stop action on the first frame of the movie clip ) Another button triggers the movie clip to start. ( which works just fine ) When the movie clip stops playing the button shows up, but rollovers don’t work, nothing works.

I don’t have the button anywhere else in the movie.

Potentially I want to use this non-working button to trigger a loadmovie action, but I can’t even get the button to function.

PLEASE HELP!!
