# Button help

Sorry all I ever do is post asking for help. I wish I could be of more help to other people, but I have no idea what I’m doing.

My newest problem should be that hard, but I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I want a button, upon releasing it, to load an external text file into a textbox. I added code and everything to the button, but it doesn’t do anything.

Actually, that’s not true. When I first created the button, it would load “undefined” into the text box, but when you clicked it again, it would load the correct file. I tried to get rid of the undefined, but now it doesn’t do anything.

I’ve uploaded the fla file and the txt file. Thanks a lot!!
