# Button to change colour of tweening mcs

Hi there,  
I have a graphic mc tweening on the timeline.  
How can I rig up a button for the user which will change the colour of the object without interfering with its movement?

All AS methods I’ve seen so far only work on an instance.  
And I can’t use gotoFrame because this will make the animation jump.
