# Button within movie clip

Hi All,

Can the

nextScene();  
prevScene();

script be used on a button within a movie clip?

I assumed putting \_root.nextScene(); would work but no luck. Is this a bug within MX and would flash 2004 resolve it?

Any input greatly appreciated,
