# Buttons and Sliders and AS, oh my!

Hi there!

I just finished the sliding menu tutorial ([http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/slidingMenu.htm](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/flash8/slidingMenu.htm)) and it’s great but i am wanting to customize it and was wondering if any of you could help me.

what I am trying to accomplish is having only 2 buttons, a forward and a backward, instead of having 4-5, etc… buttons/thumbnails which you have to press independently in order to view/advance to the next image in my gallery of 5 + images.

no more than two buttons to advance/ go back to next/previous image

is this possible?  
what would the actionscripting be?
