# Buttons that will not Move

I have noticed that when I make a buttonand add it to the stage it will not let me move it. IF I’m lucky and place it EXACTLY where it should be, thee is no problem. I tryied a button lesson that came with FlashMX and had the same problem. My buttons just will not more. I even reinstall Flash with no luck. I might menation that the program I’m trying to add the buttons to comes with FlashMX, Presentation\_style2.

Could you post the FLA so we could see what’s causing the problem?

This is the file. The problem is on page two. I can not move the Button\_pad (f11) once I add it to the stage. I can change location by typing in the properties but not by dragging the button. I’m trying to use your Creating a Full Flash Site. That would be part that allows me to load a text item by clicking on a button. I’m trying to load a text file to the large dark pad on the right side of page 2.

disable your buttons… 😉

control \> enable simple buttons (or hit ctrl+alt+b)
