# Cable TV through Ethernet?

Ok, here’s the deal. I am getting a new TV in my room (the one I have now is a 70s relic). We have cable in my house, but not in all of the rooms, unfortunately, mine is one without. I _do_ however have wired ethernet coming into my room (through a switch, router and cable modem) which is indirectly connected to the Cable jack. Is there a way that I can transfer/get the cable TV through this wire (and at the same time keep my Internet connection). And if so, would it be cost effective, or would it be more economical/better to just wire cable to my room?

How much would you estimate it would cost to have someone wire it for me? I haven’t ever had anyone wire anything to be honest 😛
