# Cache Killer

I’m a beginning flash user… most of this stuff goes over my head but Kirupa’s stuff has been infinitely helpful.

On my flash site I have external SWF’s being loaded in a container. I’ve been able to get the cache killer to work on the main page but when I try to use a cache killer on an external SWF within an external SWF I get an error that it cannot load the swf?var=#.

I can’t figure out why it’s seeing the variable as the filename.

The example is:

1. Go to [www.losborrachosmuertos.com](http://www.losborrachosmuertos.com)
2. Click on Media
3. The Media.swf will load and there are buttons which offer videos/etc.
4. If I add the code for a cache killer on the Release Buttons I get the problem–and it won’t load the appropriate SWF.

Help!
