# Cacheasbitmap question

i realize that i could find the answer to this very easily is i opened flash and wrote a few lines of code, but i don’t have flash available to me at the moment. here’s the scenario - i have a movieclip that has 5 buttons in it. each button as a mouse listener attached to it. if i set cacheasbitmap=true on the movieclip, will the listeners still work, and will the movieclip still be cached and give me the performance bump? thanks
