# Calling java from flash

hey  
whats the deal with callling a javascript:window:close();  
from flash?

browser security settings do not like it?

is there a way to tell a browser window to close? this is for a flash version detector.  
flash finds what version is used. if it is above version 7 it will javascript:window:close();

if this makes sense.
