# Can flash do what this javascript does? (magnify effect)

hello and apologies if the title is confusing.

the effect i’m looking for is featured here:

in case the link doesn’t work what happens is this: there is an image on the page and when the mouse in rolled over the image a second image window appears to the right hand side which is a magnified version of the image on the page. wherever the cursor interacts with the first image the second image window displays a magnified version of that section.

eg if the cursor is on the top right of the smaller image, the second image window displays a magnified version of the top right of the image.

i have found free javascript to achieve this effect but i have a client who would like to create a similar effect in a flash online ad.

if anyone has an example or any ideas how they would do this i’d be most grateful.
