# Can flash recognise am and pm? and then

Hi,

Is there a way for a flash movie clip to recognise if the user has entered the site in the morning or afternoon and then change the greeting message accordingly, ie. “Good Morning” - “Good afternoon”.

It seems a petty thing but my client is insisting on it.
