I was wondering if you guys could tell me how or which tutorials to use in order to replicate the menu used on this site:
[Triple 5](http://www.triple5soul.com)
I would really appreciate the advice.

why not spend some time in flash and figure it out? it’s really not
that hard TBH, and you’d get the satisfaction of doing it yourself. =)

Good luck.

lol…
as far as i’m concerned, this is a HELP forum, where questions are solved constructively most of the time.

so, jaxies, when i got u right, take a look at the [infinite menu tutorial](http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/infinite.htm) by ilyas

I understand that I need to make the symbols translucent, but instead of making it one steady stream as an infinite menu, I want to make it a few separate ones, which I will do. My question is; which tutorial can I use, or is there one to make the symbols snap together when the mouse is over one of them?

Actually, I think Jaxies has a valid question. The buttons that make up that menu aren’t on a static movieClip of it’s own, like in the infinate menu tutorial. I think those buttons are really movieClips with actions telling them to fall (gravity) when there is no hitTest from the mouse. When the buttons/MCs hit go below the bottom of the viewing area, the actionScript tells it to jump back up to the top. Then when there is a hitTest between the movieClip and the mouse, the buttons ease into place where they were before.

If I’ve lost you, then you have a bit of reading to do. All the actionScripts like easing and gravity can be found here:
Then goto tutorials.

Note for the mods:
Everytime I send a new poster to Bit-101, everyone always says that it’s too advanced to start with, but I still think it’s a good place to start learning actionScript. That’s where I started! 🙂

Good luck!!
